The Aaron Lewis Foundation Golf Day, organised by Aaron’s cousin Ross Druitt, took place at Ballards Gore Golf Club, Rochford on 12 June. 56 golfers took part and they were joined by family and friends afterwards for presentations, raffle and auction. The day was won by James Dorrington with an impressive 44 stapleford points. James’s team also picked up the team honours alongside playing partners Oli Hall and Harry Smith. Longest drive was won by Sean Kilby, and Mick Glenister picked up nearest the pin on the tricky 14th.

A special thank you to Michael and the excellent team at Ballards Gore who looked after the ALF organisers, volunteers and players all day. Thanks also to those who contributed prizes including Steve Bish, Stephen Wells of Createpay, The Estuary Restaurant, Thames Breeze Restaurant, La Sirena Restaurant, Shri Shah at Golf. One, Ballards Gore Golf Club, Rochford Hundred Golf Club and Strikely Performance Golf.

A huge thank you to Ross for organising another fabulous event, and to all that played, helped or contributed to the day which raised an incredible £3757.18 which will go a long way in helping those the ALF supports.
