A SPECIAL go-karting event has raised around £800 for the Aaron Lewis Foundation.
More than 60 drivers took part in the event at Brentwood Karting last month, including the ALF’s own Barry Lewis.
It was organised by Lauren Taplin, who has been behind several other fundraising drives in recent years. She is now planning a Grand Canyon trek in support of Southend homeless charity HARP.
After the latest donation, Helen Lewis from the ALF said: “We are so grateful to all our fundraisers and it was great to see so many people turn out for the go-karting event.
“We must say a big thank you to Lauren and wish her the best of luck with her future adventures.”
