GOLFERS have teed off for a afternoon of competition in aid of the Aaron Lewis Foundation.
The 18-hole stableford events were organised by Ross Druitt at The Rochford Hundred Golf Club on June 1st.
Lee Winsor was the big winner on the day, taking the individual honours as well as the team title with Andy Frye, Mark McCarthy and Paul Kicks.
The orange ball team competition was won by Scott Simmons, Paul Raffety, Matt Clark and Tom Leader from the Ledge Foundation, another charity organisation.
There was local sporting royalty in attendance with World Snooker Champion Stuart Bingham taking part in one of the teams.
And the Royal Artillery had fired a cannon to signal the start of the competition. The total raised on the day was £3,475.61.
