AN intrepid father and daughter duo are taking part in a 125-mile canoe race in aid of the Aaron Lewis Foundation.

Aaron’s commanding officer Neil Wilson and daughter Molly will be paddling from Devizes in Wiltshire across to Westminster across Easter.

Guinness World Records has labelled it the “toughest race in the world” and includes numerous portage sections, where competitors must get out of the water and carry their canoes around obstacles or to new bodies of water.

Neil and Molly said: “Both the physical and mental challenge is something we are desperate to rise to and hope as many people as possible will meet us as we paddle under Westminster Bridge on Easter Monday.”

The duo have already raised nearly £900 of their £1,500. To sponsor them on their efforts, visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mollyandneildw
