In light of the ongoing COVID 19 viral pandemic restrictions, The Aaron Lewis Foundation (ALF), in consultation with Westcliff Rugby Football Club (WRFC), has made the sad decision to cancel the 2020 Aaron Lewis 10s Tournament. Despite the slight easing of social restrictions announced by the Government at the weekend, the organisers and leadership from WRFC do not think that restrictions will be lifted sufficiently to permit an event of the tournament’s nature to proceed on 4 July or in the months that will follow.
Any teams that have already signed up and paid their entry fees will be contacted by the organisers and will receive a full refund.
Planning for the 2021 tournament will begin in earnest once the national situation becomes clearer and details will be released via the normal ALF and WRFC channels.
