ALF to continue to help former officer with MA funding

The Aaron Lewis Foundation is helping Rob Butt with funding for the 2nd year fees for his Medieval History MA.

Rob, a seriously injured former Army Officer from Somerset, was helped in 2020 with his first-year fees. ALF Trustee Steve Fraser has been monitoring Rob’s progress and the impact of the course on his wellbeing and daily routine has been significant, so the Trustees felt they would like extend the support to him into Year 2.

Rob wrote to Mrs Helen Lewis to express his thanks:

” Thank you very much to you and The Aaron Lewis Foundation for the very generous and kind donation towards the funding of my online Masters in Medieval History via Birmingham University. I am in my 2nd and final year and have two modules and a dissertation to complete. Without your generous assistance I would have struggled to justify paying for the course, the success I feel from studying again, despite my disabilities, has really helped me to move on from my accident and to view the future with more confidence.”

We wish Rob the best of luck as he works towards his Masters and look forward to reporting on his successful course completion and MA.
