The sessions take place at the Personnel Recovery Centre at Colchester’s Merville Barracks and are for injured soldiers either preparing to return to military duties or being medically discharged and looking for new opportunities.
The response from participants was excellent with comments such as “very practical and easy to understand” and “very informative and realistic content”.
Captain Chris Butt, from the PRC, said: “As always, we remain grateful for your continued funding for these courses since they deliver so much more than a first aid qualification.”
ALF trustee Lt Col (Retd) Steve Fraser MBE attended the certificate presentation event in Colchester and confirmed the charity plans to fund more of the training sessions this year.
