The Aaron Lewis Foundation has re-started its funding for specialist first aid courses for injured service personnel.
The training at the Personnel Recovery Centre at Colchester’s Merville Barracks had been stopped due to the Covid pandemic with the last one in January 2020.
Helen Lewis from the ALF said: “We have always been delighted to have funded this worthwhile training in the past and are happy to do so again.
“Myself and Barry were not able to attend the certificate presentation event this time due to prior commitments and we’re grateful to Warrant Officer David Guest for stepping in.
“The feedback passed on from the participants has been excellent.”
The courses are for injured soldiers either preparing to return to military duties or being medically discharged and looking for new opportunities.
