THE Aaron Lewis Foundation has been able to re-cycle a handbike by passing it on to a second recipient.
The device was first presented to youngster Conall Riley at the ALF 10s event in 2017.
But he recently returned it as he is now able to use a regular bike, and the handcycle has now been passed to Bethany Heard.
Bethany, 39, of Ramsey, Essex, was born with cerebral palsy and the bike will assist with her physio and general fitness levels.
Her mum Sue said: “Bethany has been around the garden and drive and we will be venturing out as the weather gets more favourable and as she gets more confident on the bike.”
A spokesman for the ALF added: “It’s great to see that items the charity purchases to help one person initially can go on to help others down the line.”
