The Aaron Lewis Foundation has provided funding for another first aid course at the Personnel Recovery Centre in Colchester.

The training had stopped during the Covid-19 Pandemic but since it has re-started the Aaron Lewis Foundation has provided funding for the courses in June 2022 and again earlier this month.

The courses are for injured soldiers preparing to return to military duties, or for those who have been medically discharged and are headed for new ventures.

When asked for feedback about the course, one participant described it as “relaxed and fun” with an “extremely knowledgeable” and “fantastic” instructor.

Warrant Officer, David Guest, who organises the First Aid training said: Thank you again for enabling us to host this course. Not only do the guys get a useful addition to their CV, but they also get a good fun time with their brothers & sisters where they can forget their problems and remember what it’s like to smile and have fun. A top three days for all involved.”
