In a remarkable act of Christmas generosity, long term ALF supporters Andrew Sykes Ltd have presented another £10,000 donation towards our ongoing work.
Carl Webb, Group Managing Director from Andrew Sykes, met Barry and Helen Lewis for lunch and surprised them with this wonderful donation which comes on top of several other gifts from the company this year and sponsorship of the highly successful ALF10s rugby tournament in the summer.
The work the ALF does for the community in Essex and nationally for Service and Ex-Service personnel strikes a real chord with Carl, the company and his team. Their support this year has made a huge difference in what has been our most exciting and active year to date with 20 grant payments in Essex and across the UK providing specialist medical and sporting equipment, adventurous training courses and activities, clothing, home adaptations, transport and various vital domestic items.
2026 is already shaping up to be as busy and rewarding, so it is a real joy to be able to step into the New Year with this incredible level of kindness and support.
