A 24-hour snooker, darts and pool marathon has taken place for the 2nd time in Essex raising an incredible £4,450 for the ALF.

The event was organised by Ross Druitt and Pete Ward and hosted by Brian Salmon and the team at Q Ball Sports Bar in Basildon. All money raised was split equally between the ALF, the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Brain Tumour Charity – all linked personally in some way to the organisers.

Over 40 participants took part in the 24-hour challenge supported by friends, family and live music from The Revival and DJ Wayne Connold. The event was made even more special by the opportunity to play against former World Snooker and Masters Champion Stuart Bingham and former World Seniors Darts Champion of Champions Richie Howson, both of whom gave up their time to play challengers for a donation.

An amazing event raising essential funds for three wonderful charities at a busy time for all of them and we can’t thank everyone enough for their endurance and support.
